Liberty Reserves Slap 2-1 Loss on Red Pandas
|
In a tight contest between the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves and the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, Roland Jamison was the determining factor. The Philadelphia left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Bill Carson was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 17th of the season. The misery continues for the Red Pandas, who have now dropped 11 in a row.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dan Cook? The Philadelphia third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Liberty Reserves on top, 2-0. For the game, Cook had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
Sioux Falls manager José González, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
