The Tortolita Drummers downed the Austin Black Mambas, 7-6, in 10 innings at Mamba Park. Paul Richardson led the way, going 2-for-5 for Tortolita. John Allen wrapped it up, recording his 6th save. Tortolita now sports a record of 25-38.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dave Cahill? The Tortolita designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Drummers on top, 7-6. For the game, Cahill had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
