The Norfolk Pajaritos topped the Austin Black Mambas, 10-5, with first baseman Ofa Paulo playing a big role. Paulo belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times for the Pajaritos in the win. Dwayne Castillo got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings. Norfolk has now won 3 in a row.

With Norfolk leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Paulo hit a cutter from Bob Craig for a 3-run home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Pajaritos ahead, 5-1.
