Sandoval Rips 2 Home Runs in 8-4 Liberty Reserves Triumph
Philadelphia first baseman Octávio Sandoval had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 8-4. Philadelphia is 7th in the Silver AAA with a record of 30-36.

Sandoval contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Philadelphia in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Sandoval took a fastball from Yefim Vistunov and stroked the home run to left-center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Liberty Reserves to leap in front, 3-2.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Sandoval.
