Riding the 2-hit performance of the 24-year old second baseman James O'Neal, the Kansas Rainbeaus clipped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 3-2, in 12 innings. Kansas reliever Jonah Cervantes picked up the win, raising his record to 4-5. Mike Pace was tagged with the loss. The Rainbeaus saw their record improve to 32-34.

Víctor Rivas delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 12th to win it for the Rainbeaus. For the game, Rivas drew 1 walk.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said O'Neal.
