The Tortolita Drummers downed the Norfolk Pajaritos, 6-3, at Drummers Ballpark. Wayne Schmidt led the way, going 2-for-3 for Tortolita. The Drummers now own a record of 33-34.

The Drummers got a big hit from right fielder Damian García. Facing Norfolk pitcher Jorge Deleón in the bottom of the sixth, García pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 5th home run of the season put the Drummers ahead, 5-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said García.
