Fighting Dachshunds Get Thrilling 7-6 Win
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds downed the Florida Men, 7-6. The hitting star was shortstop H.R. Pickens. Pickens went 1-3 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Fighting Dachshunds. Ellenburg reliever Al Moore picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Mike Allen absorbed the loss. The wins continue to add up for Ellenburg. The latest makes it 10 in a row.

Corey Howell clinched the win with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the 12th. In the game, the Ellenburg second baseman was 2-6 with 2 singles.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Howell said, postgame.
