Lynx Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The Calgary Lynx picked up a win at Lynx Stadium, downing the Florence Flamingos, 5-4. On the mound for Calgary was left-hander Conner Dixon, who played a pivotal role in the win. Luis Ruíz snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-2 on the season. Pedro Ramírez suffered the loss. With the win, the Lynx improved to 47-21.

Calgary got a clutch hit from Matt George. The catcher launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Conner kept his poise and got the job done," said Calgary manager Steve Duncan. "He was outstanding."
