The Tortolita Drummers did just enough to secure a victory over the Norfolk Pajaritos, 2-1, in 10 innings at Drummers Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Carlos Gómez. Tortolita is 34-35 and Norfolk, with the loss, 45-24.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the tenth when Damian García hit a run-scoring double off former first round draft pick Robert O'Reilly to win the game for Tortolita. The home crowd went wild.

"This place went berserk," Gómez said.
