Alexander, Liberty Reserves Too Much for Lynx
Philadelphia shortstop Jim Alexander had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Calgary Lynx, 9-5. The Liberty Reserves go to 47-25, putting them second in the Silver AAA.

With Philadelphia leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Alexander batted against Calgary pitcher Mac Walker. Alexander hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Liberty Reserves on top, 6-0.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Alexander told the Philadelphia News.
