Hartford pitcher Alex Wicksted did his part in helping his team defeat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The 8th-place Pride have won 6 straight.

The Pride got a big at-bat from catcher James Tinker. For the game, Tinker was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Hartford a 2-0 lead.

"Alex just settled in and did what he does," said Hartford manager Tim Fowler.
