Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Sunset District Fog and Santa Barbara Golden Cranes.

Fernando Fonseca, who is tied for 9th in the SAAA in strikeouts with 67, had a strong outing for the Sunset District Fog against the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Crane Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Kelly McCarthy earned the save for Sunset District, his 15th of the year.

Ai-de Lau had a direct impact on the outcome. Lau contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Sunset District up, 4-1.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Lau.

The Fog improved their record to 43-30 by beating Santa Barbara.
