Flamingos Take Nail-Biter Over Black Mambas
The Florence Flamingos picked up a win at Florence Field, dropping the Austin Black Mambas, 2-1, in 11 innings. Mark Christian, who is rated as the 48th best prospect by BNN, was the difference-maker. The Flamingos now have a record of 28-46.

The Flamingos got a clutch hit from second baseman Bruce Ayers. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Flamingos.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Christian after the game.
