Florence Flamingos starter Martin Humphrey had all his pitches working at Florence Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Florence win over the Austin Black Mambas. Florence is now 29-46, Austin 30-45.

The Flamingos got a big at-bat from center fielder Lorenzo Gutiérrez, who in the bottom of the second hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Flamingos on top, 5-0.
