Tritons Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Red Pandas, 4-2
|
The Jersey City Tritons picked up a win at The Bamboo Forest, topping the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-2. On the mound for Jersey City was right-hander Dan Cook. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win went to Jonathan Young in relief, making him now 5-3. Ed Moore took the loss for Sioux Falls. Jersey City has now won 3 in a row.
Bennett Walker had a direct impact on the outcome. Walker contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Jersey City up, 2-0.
"I like our moxie," said Tritons manager Steve Bryan.
