Good production from third baseman Felipe Torres helped the Monongahela Monsters topple the Austin Black Mambas, 6-2. Torres went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Monsters. With the win, Monongahela raised its record to 50-26.

With Monongahela trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Torres hit a splitter from Bob Craig for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Monsters ahead, 3-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Torres.
