Thrilling Victory Pushes Lynx Win Streak to 5
|
Milton wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Juan Ramírez, falling to the Calgary Lynx, 6-4. Ramírez threw 8.1 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Calgary is now 38-38, while Milton is 34-42.
Calgary relied on the bat of Ray Bradley to get the win. The right fielder produced a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 5-4. For the game, Bradley had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"We're playing like we're capable of," said Calgary manager Steve Duncan.
