Losing Skid Reaches 7 Games for Blitzkrieg
In a low-scoring affair between the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, pitcher Javier Rúbio was the difference between victory and defeat. The Sioux Falls left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Red Pandas win. Picking up his 5th save was 31-year old right-handed pitcher Bob Daniel. The Blitzkrieg, at 30-47, have lost 7 in a row.

Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Bryan Denton to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Red Pandas on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Said losing manager Mike Nyberg: "These are the grinding hard days that all good teams go through, and this is when we've got to stick together and believe in one another."
