McFarland Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pajaritos
The Norfolk Pajaritos trumped the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 13-9, in 10 innings. Norfolk left fielder Ken Byrd was impactful. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Norfolk now sports a record of 49-28.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Norfolk. That's when Christian McFarland hit a grand slam home run off fireballing 6' 7" left-hander Bill Carson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Byrd said.
