Lynx Squelch Pride Offense in Shutout Win
Eddy Poole, who is tied for 7th in the SAAA in strikeouts with 83, imposed his will on the Pride from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the left-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Calgary triumph. Calgary is now 43-36, Hartford 32-47.

Raúl Morán had a big 2-run home run for the Lynx in the bottom of the third inning. With Calgary leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a cutter from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Tom Boswell and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Lynx on top, 4-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Morán.
