The Port Huron Blitzkrieg got a good effort from starter Wop Letroit in defeating the Calgary Lynx at Lynx Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Luis Montáñez nailed down his 1st save. The 9th-place Blitzkrieg sport a record of 26-54.

The Blitzkrieg got an important contribution from second baseman Dustin Tate, who in the top of the second hit a fastball to left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 3-0.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Tate.
