Downward Spiral Continues for Austin
Starks second baseman Chris Adams left his imprint on his team's 8-3 win over the Austin Black Mambas. Adams went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Syracuse in the contest. Cisco Morales was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. Austin is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 9 games.

The Starks got an important contribution from center fielder Jesús González, who in the top of the fifth hit a sinker to right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Starks ahead, 3-1.
