The Monongahela Monsters downed the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 11-3, at Port Huron Park. Gorgonio Arboleda led the way, going 4-for-5 for Monongahela. The winning pitcher was Xavier Martínez. His record now stands at 12-1. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Monsters. Monongahela is now 51-34, while Port Huron is 29-56.

Monongahela grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Arboleda hit a 3-run home run off Wop Letroit. His 17th home run of the season put the Monsters out in front, 6-3.
