In a tight contest at Plymouth Quarry, the Plymouth Rocks edged the Monongahela Monsters by the score of 5-4. Plymouth center fielder Damon Bansfield, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The winner in relief was John McCarthy. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 4-3. Plymouth, at 54-32, sits in second place in the Silver AAA.
