Syracuse Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
|
The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves earned a close win over the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, thanks in part to Roland Jamison. The Philadelphia left-hander, who leads the SAAA with a 0.97 WHIP, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Jamison, now 6-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 0, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Syracuse.
Erik Limond came through for Philadelphia when he hit a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a two-strike sinker to center field, staking his team to a 3-2 lead.
