Beasley Terrific in 7-1 Syracuse Triumph
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys knocked off the Kansas Rainbeaus, 7-1, in USSL Triple A action at Wichita Field. Syracuse pitcher and Baltimore, Maryland, native Cody Beasley had an outstanding performance. With the win, Syracuse pushed its record to 46-43.

Beasley made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 9 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 1-0.

"When Cody is on, he can really move the ball around," said Syracuse manager Ramón Barrueco.
