Osman Hoti, who leads the SAAA in strikeouts with 115, imposed his will on the Lynx from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Tortolita triumph. The Drummers raised their record to 47-42.

Tortolita used the hitting of Dave Cahill to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Drummers on top, 2-0. For the game, Cahill had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Tortolita manager Marcos Costa.
