|
Javier Rivera was a major factor in the 3-0 Philadelphia win over Port Huron. The Liberty Reserves third baseman belted 2 home runs. Philadelphia reliever Rodney Craig was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Gustavo Rivera took the loss for Port Huron. With the win, the Liberty Reserves improved to 44-46.
Alvin Grant had a critical at-bat with no one out in the top of the sixth for Philadelphia. He came through with a solo home run to put Philadelphia in front, 2-0.
