In a tight tilt between the Florence Flamingos and the Syracuse Starks, Luis Domínguez was the deciding factor. The Florence right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The winner was Domínguez. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Roberto Silva. Florence, at 49-41, holds down 4th place in the Silver AAA.

Florence got a big at-bat from Ammon, Idaho native Ryan White, who in the bottom of the second hit a run-scoring double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Flamingos ahead, 2-0.
