Liberty Reserves Squeeze By Kansas, 3-2
The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves did just enough to secure a victory over the Kansas Rainbeaus, 3-2, in 12 innings at Liberty Reserve Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Javier Salinas. Kasper Berg claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-1. The 'W' lifts Philadelphia's record to 45-46.

The Liberty Reserves got a clutch hit from third baseman Javier Rivera. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Liberty Reserves.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Philadelphia manager Kiril Neuvel. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
