Mamba Park was the site of a competitive game between the Florence Flamingos and Austin Black Mambas.

The Austin Black Mambas did just enough to sneak past the Florence Flamingos, 3-2, at Mamba Park. Austin pitcher Bob Craig, in particular, had a standout performance. Horace Hill earned save number 18 this season.

Austin took a 3-2 lead on Caden White's 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which White hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Florence pitcher Neil Herrera visibly frustrated.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Florence skipper José Mejía, "and it cost us."

Austin now owns a record of 46-46.
