The home crowd had a good time watching the Kansas Rainbeaus and Plymouth Rocks get after it.

The Plymouth Rocks defeated the Kansas Rainbeaus, 7-3. Doing his part was third baseman Wallace Martin, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Lyndon Lerwill, the winning pitcher, improved to 9-3. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 9 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0.

With Plymouth leading 3-0 in the bottom of the eighth, Martin hit a changeup from Yok-sing Zhou for a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Rocks ahead, 7-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Martin said after the game.

The victory gives the Rocks a record of 49-45.
