Pajaritos Deal Dogfish Head 3-1 Loss
|
Milton Corner Tavern was the site of a tense game between the Milton Dogfish Head and Norfolk Pajaritos.
The Norfolk Pajaritos picked up a win at Milton Corner Tavern, downing the Milton Dogfish Head, 3-1. On the mound for Norfolk was left-hander Ted Elkins, who played a pivotal role in the win. Elkins got the win, improving to 10-5. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 8.1 innings. He allowed 1 run.
Vincent Michel had a critical at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Norfolk. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Norfolk in front, 3-0.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Michel.
Norfolk, at 58-37, holds down third place in the Silver AAA.
