Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 6-0 Norfolk triumph. Evans picked up the win for Norfolk, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 8-7. The Pajaritos have now won 4 straight.

Norfolk used a well-timed hit by Ronald McKenzie to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Pajaritos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
