A 3-RBI performance from Tim Anderson, who is tied for 7th in the SAAA in hits with 109, helped the Monongahela Monsters beat the Norfolk Pajaritos, 7-3. Monongahela is now 59-37, Norfolk 60-36.

With Monongahela leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Anderson came up to bat against Norfolk pitcher Ed Perkins. Anderson hit a fastball to right for a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season put the Monsters on top, 5-2.

Anderson said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
