Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Philadelphia Liberty Reserves.

Starting pitcher Rock DeVote gave the Sioux Falls Red Pandas a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 3-2, at Liberty Reserve Stadium. Philadelphia's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Clint Ellison to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Pandas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Philadelphia manager Kiril Neuvel. "We just didn't cash in."
