Thunderbirds Win Thriller, 5-4
|
Coyote Wildlife Refuge was the site of quite a ballgame.
Hamilton left fielder Victor Porter had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-4. At 41-58, the Thunderbirds are currently 9th in the Silver AAA.
In the bottom of the ninth, John Tolbert had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to left-center off Pennsauken pitcher Carlos Rosas.
"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Tolbert said.
