Liberty Reserves first baseman Octávio Sandoval left his mark on his team's 8-6 win over the Norfolk Pajaritos. Sandoval was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Philadelphia in the contest. Philadelphia pitcher Patrick Davis got the win, upping his record to 8-5. Dwayne Castillo got the loss. Bill Carson was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 28th of the season.

Sandoval contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Philadelphia get the win.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Sandoval said.

The Liberty Reserves lead the Silver AAA by a game.
