Hot Chickens Deal Drummers 3-1 Loss
|
The Nashville Hot Chickens went home winners at Drummers Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Bhagavan Antle. Antle stifled the Tortolita Drummers, enabling Nashville to grab the 3-1 win. Marlon Anderson was called on to finish, recording his 18th save. The last-place Hot Chickens own a record of 35-65.
The Hot Chickens got a big at-bat from center fielder Willard Case. For the game, Case was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Nashville a 2-0 lead.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Antle after the game.
