The Kansas Rainbeaus withstood an impressive performance by Milton left fielder Gerardo Carranza to defeat the Dogfish Head, 9-8, at Wichita Field. Carranza went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Kansas is in 7th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 49-51.

Kansas took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Ramón Romero hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Rainbeaus.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Milton manager Brian Burt. "The effort was great."
