The Sioux Falls Red Pandas faced a tough opponent in Calgary pitcher Mac Walker, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Lynx Stadium by a final score of 7-4. Walker went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Andrés Chávez closed it out for his 2nd save. The Red Pandas saw their record improve to 47-55.
Tim Robinson came through with a big-time hit for Sioux Falls. The shortstop smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Solid performance from our side," said Red Pandas manager José González.
