The Sacramento Redlegs went home winners at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, thanks in large part to starter Seung-gwan Kim. Kim stifled the Hamilton Thunderbirds, enabling Sacramento to grab the 7-1 win. Kim picked up the win for Sacramento, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 11-3. Sacramento is now 67-35, 7 games up in the Silver AAA.

The Redlegs benefited from a costly error in the top of the fourth. With Luis Chávez at bat and Sacramento leading 1-0, the Hamilton miscue allowed Sacramento to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
