|
Ottawa starter Bailey Marshall pitched well against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 8-4. Marshall got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win, Ottawa goes to 3-4.
Ottawa used the timely hitting of Ron Mitchell to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fat Cats on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
