Rocketeers Squelch White Walkers Offense in Shutout Win
At Boeing Dome, the Buffalo White Walkers and Seattle Rocketeers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

In a low-scoring contest between the Seattle Rocketeers and the Buffalo White Walkers, Álex López was the X factor. The Seattle right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Picking up the save was Jesús Sánchez, his 1st.

The Rocketeers got a big hit from designated hitter Jorge Beguer. Facing Buffalo pitcher Conan Knox in the bottom of the fifth, Beguer pounded a run-scoring double to left. His 18th double of the season put the Rocketeers ahead, 2-0.

Beguer called the win "a collective effort."

The 7th-place Rocketeers lifted their record to 30-31.
