Tate Plays Big Role in Long Island Win
The Long Island Lighthouse got a strong performance from pitcher Jeff Tate. Elephant stymied the Buckhead offense en route to a solid, 6-0 win at The Lighthouse. The Long Island win streak is now 4 games.

The Bowties had little chance against Tate, who overpowered Buckhead hitters and struck out 11.

"Jeff pitched like a champ," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
