The Buckhead Bowties were defeated, 1-0, by the Long Island Lighthouse at The Lighthouse, even though Uhi Ahipene pitched well for Buckhead. Long Island has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.
In the bottom of the third inning, first baseman Jesús Serrano had a run-scoring double for Long Island. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Lighthouse on top, 1-0.
"We're playing like we're capable of," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
