Rocketeers Upend White Walkers, 3-2
|
Seattle right-hander Jason Cox helped his team edge Buffalo by the score of 3-2. Cox kept the opposing lineup in check. Cox, the 23rd overall pick in the 2059 draft, went the distance for Seattle. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. Seattle is now 32-31.
Carlos Villegas had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Seattle. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Seattle in front, 3-0.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Seattle skipper Andrew Powell. "I can't complain."
