Patriots 2-1 Winners Over Hollywood
In a low-scoring affair between the Boston Patriots and the Hollywood Shredders, pitcher Jesús Ramírez was the difference between victory and defeat. The Boston left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Patriots win. Yong-hyun Kim notched his 17th save in 18 chances. The win gives Boston a season record of 33-30.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Bill Meeks to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Patriots ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Meeks.
