Cape Coral reliever Harry Marshall picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Tommaso Cugnoni took the loss. Mark Smith closed the game out for Cape Coral, earning his 9th save.

Jesús Casquete chipped in for Cape Coral, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a double, while scoring 2 times.

"It was a good effort all around," said Casquete.

The 9th-place Hurricanes go to 32-37.
