Bell slugs 3 home runs, Leads Ponies to Win
|
In a tight contest at Megaffin Park, the Kingston Ponies edged the Long Island Lighthouse by the score of 7-6. Kingston first baseman Adam Bell, who blasted 3 home runs, was a key contributor. The Ponies win now puts them at 35-36.
Kingston took a 7-6 lead on Bell's 19th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Victor Jones in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Kingston to the win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Bell.
