Blakemore Leads Lighthouse to 7-4 Win Over Dirty Reds
Behind a fine performance from Edward Blakemore, the Long Island Lighthouse knocked off the Dayton Dirty Reds, 7-4. Blakemore went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Lighthouse. Jack Peters got the win, improving to 10-0. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 7. Long Island is now 49-22, Dayton 39-32.

In the bottom of the first, Blakemore had a 3-run home run for Long Island. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Lighthouse on top, 3-0.
