The Long Island Lighthouse beat the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 5-4. Long Island pitcher and Siheung, South Korea, native Chan-seok Yi led the way. The Lighthouse now own a record of 56-25.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Dan Love came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Vancouver pitcher Brad Carter, he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Long Island on top, 5-4.

"I believe in our guys," said Long Island skipper Michael Esposito. "I like the energy they're playing with."
