Kingston 6-3 Losers to Leviathan

The Nova Scotia Leviathan defeated the Kingston Ponies, 6-3, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Nova Scotia first baseman Shawn Maxwell had a superb performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times. Alfredo Maldonado, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 9. His record now stands at 8-6. With the win, the Leviathan have a record of 35-49.
With one out in the bottom of the first, Dewitt Chambers put Nova Scotia in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Leviathan went on to win the ballgame.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Maxwell told the Nova Scotia Observer.
