Late Magic Gets Thunder Bay 6-4 Win
The Detroit Elite got a sterling performance from pitcher David Hudson, but the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC still prevailed, 6-4. Hudson threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The winner in relief was Dan Taylor. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 7-2. With the win, the Northern Lions BC improved to 46-44.

Thunder Bay used the timely hitting of Leonard Saunders to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Northern Lions BC on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
