The Dirty Reds grabbed a win, 7-3, at Lang Park, overcoming a fine effort from Kingston pitcher Casper Trout. Trout went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Picking up the win was Bhagavan Antle. He went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 2. The Dirty Reds have an impressive 56-35 record.

Early in the game, right fielder Ray McConnell had a 3-run home run for Dayton. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Dirty Reds on top, 4-1.

"This was a nice win for us," said McConnell. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
