Dayton beat Kingston on the strength of starting pitcher Ismael Mena's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. The second-place Dirty Reds now have a record of 57-35.

Dayton took a 4-3 lead on Arturo Collazo's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Collazo hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Kingston pitcher Sam van Elswijk visibly frustrated.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Collazo.
