The 9-5 Hollywood win over Toronto was due largely to Kharouf bin Hajjaj. The Shredders designated hitter went 1 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times. Hollywood reliever Mark Sims picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Mark Garland took the loss. The losing streak for Toronto has now reached 4 games.

In the bottom of the sixth, Hollywood third baseman Gregg Curtis gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Abnormal hit his 16th double of the year. Toronto pitcher Mark Garland surrendered it. With that, the Shredders jumped in front, 6-5.

"It was a solid team effort," said Curtis after the game.
